18-year-old woman shows up at St. Paul's hospital in Saskatoon with gunshot wound
Police say injury is not life-threatening
An 18-year-old woman is the latest victim in a rash of shootings in Saskatoon.
Police said they were called to St. Paul's Hospital in the 1700 block of 20th Street West around 10:30 p.m. Monday, after the gunshot victim showed up there.
The victim's injuries are serious but not life-threatening, police said.
Police said they are still trying to get information from the victim.
The area around the hospital has seen three shootings in a little more than a week.
In one case, a man was killed.

Police have not said exactly where this latest shooting happened, just that the victim showed up at St. Paul's Hospital.
Just days ago, police had promised an increased presence in the area to try and stop the violence.
In reaction to the shootings, Pleasant Hill neighbourhood leaders are organizing an emergency meeting focusing on safety in six core neighbourhoods March 29 at Station 20 West.
