A Saskatoon man and woman have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 22-year-old man from Fishing Lake First Nation, according to police.
Warman RCMP responded to a report of an injured person southwest of Saskatoon on Friday afternoon. The man was pronounced dead shortly after emergency responders arrived, police said.
Investigators determined the man was at a Saskatoon residence in the 600 block of Wardlow Road. Saskatoon police arrested the two suspects, a 33-year-old old woman and a 27-year-old man, from that address on Saturday.
Police said they don't believe the incident is random. The accused were expected in court on Monday morning.
