Halifax named the donair its official food today. The debate divided city council and it came down to the mayor's vote to decide whether the meat-filled pita would represent the city as its official food.

So we thought it would be fun to ask you what you think the official foods should be in Regina and Saskatoon. And like out on the East Coast, it created quite the debate here in Saskatchewan.

Reginans are proud of their pizza culture. On Facebook, Matthew Harrison wrote that Regina has the "best pie in the world!"
