Curvalicious Canada is coming to Sudbury for the next few days in search of curvy women who might be the ideal Curvalicious ambassador.

They are looking for women who are size 8 and up and proud of their curves.

This event is part of a national contest in search of Canada's next top plus size model.

There's a potential modelling contract in store, along with other prizes, like a car, and appearing on the cover of a magazine.

Auditions will be happening from Sept. 22 until Sept. 24 at The Plus Factor.

The Plus Factor in Sudbury — a store catering to curvy women — will host judges for the contest.

Mel Morin is a long-time customer and will also be a judge this weekend for the Curvalicious contest.

"What we're looking for is someone who's got that confidence, who can bring that forward to other women," she said.

"Somebody who really wants to make a statement about the positivity about the entire concept of what Curvalicious is all about."

You can learn more about the contest by going to curvycanadadiva.com.

There will be more auditions coming to Thunder Bay on Oct. 29
