Paris, Ont. snowmobiler dies in Burk's Falls collision

Provincial police are investigating a fatal snowmobile crash that happened Sunday morning, about 20 kilometres west of Burk's Falls.

The OPP said the man's snow machine struck a tree on a groomed trail close to 9:45 a.m. Herb Bishop, 56, of Paris, Ontario, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed was a factor in the collision, police said.

A post mortem examination was scheduled for Monday.
