Police investigate stabbing in Greater Sudbury community of Chelmsford

Police are investigating a stabbing incident in Chelmsford area of Greater Sudbury. On Friday morning,  officers were called to a home on Errington Street to find a 30-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.

Police are investigating a stabbing incident in Chelmsford area of Greater Sudbury.

On Friday morning, officers were called to a home on Errington Street at 7:30 a.m. to find a 30-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital and treated for her injuries.  A 33-year old woman, believed to have been involved, was also taken to hospital. 

Preliminary investigations indicate that the stabbing resulted from an altercation between the two women. Officers say it was a targeted incident and the two people are known to each other.
