Sudbury police locate body of missing man Boyd Lynds
Hunt for wife Gail and the couple's blue van continues, police say
A man reported missing earlier this week has been found dead, Sudbury police said today, but the search continues for his missing wife.
Boyd and Gail Lynds had not been seen since early this week.
Earlier today, police said they had narrowed the search for the missing couple to a property the Lynds own outside Wanup. A burned truck was found nearby, but there is no indication from police it is related to the death. It was hauled away by police, neighbours said.
Police are focusing their search efforts on locating the couple's 2012 blue Dodge Caravan. Gail, 73, was last seen walking toward the van at their Sudbury home near the Four Corners on Tuesday morning.
Police say the Lynds don't have any known medical conditions.
