Sudbury Wolves interim coach hopes to boost players' confidence
David Matsos says year full of losses has been tough on players and fans
The Wolves fired head coach Paul Fixter over the weekend after the team picked up just seven wins in the first half of the Ontario Hockey League season.
Matsos said his biggest challenge will be helping the players stay positive through the rest of the season.
"This sort of adversity I don't think most of these guys have faces especially in front of so many paying customers," he said.
"It's hard. Confidence-wise we need to keep them on the top side of it. Make them believe and see that they are working hard."
