2 killed in Thunder Bay Expressway collision

Ontario Provincial Police says two people were killed in a collision on the Thunder Bay Expressway early Saturday.
According to police, a southbound Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck crossed the highway's centre line and collided with a northbound Chrysler PT Cruiser.
It happened just before 3 a.m., north of the intersection with Arthur Street W.
The 28-year-old male driver of the PT Cruiser was pronounced dead at the scene. The 28-year-old female passenger was rushed to hospital, but later died.
The 27-year-old driver of the pickup was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Provincial police said the collision is still under investigation.
