Human remains found in Kenora belong to Delaine Copenace, OPP report
The human remains found by city of Kenora workers this morning have been identified as Delaine Copenace of Kenora, provincial police confirm.
The human remains found by city of Kenora workers this morning have been identified as Delaine Copenace of Kenora, provincial police confirm.
Copenace was reported missing to the OPP on Feb. 28 and has been the subject of an active missing person investigation.
The coroner attended the scene and a post mortem examination has been ordered. The examination will take place at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Services located in Toronto at a date to be determined.
City workers made the discovery shortly after 8 a.m., at the end of Water Street in Lake of the Woods.
