Young powwow dancers, drummers in Thunder Bay, Ont., share their craft with fellow students

A group of young powwow dancers and drummers showcased their skills at a Powwow Kick-Off Event at Westgate Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Thunder Bay, Ont., on Thursday, ahead of National Indigenous Peoples Day. The goal was to educate others about Indigenous culture and the stories behind the music and movement at powwows.
