Jays management showed off the new concession items — part of a larger expansion of the food and drink menu — and outlined a number of promos for the upcoming season.

Rogers Centre's executive chef Matthew Munro said the new foods will be: "A little fun for everybody."

The Jays home opener is set for Thursday afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles. This season, there's some pressure to get fans back in seats as the team is coming off a disappointing 2024 campaign that saw Toronto finish last in the American League East division.

The Jays finished 20 games behind the rival New York Yankees, who this week showed off their new ballpark dish: tiramisu in a mini helmet.

Expect big lines on jersey giveaway days

Once again, the team is rolling out special giveaways throughout the season – which often lead to huge and early lines outside the Rogers Centre.

The team's City Connect nights, on Fridays, will see fans get a crack at free merch. The first offer is a Bo Bichette City Connect layered replica jersey for the first 15,000 people in line on March 28.

"I think people are going to line up pretty far for that one," said Jess Wood, the club's director of promotions.

The Jays rolled out their black City Connect uniforms for the first time last season.

Season ticket holders, meanwhile, will get access to the new Club 328, located on the field level, situated beneath the visiting team's bullpen. The club will have a barbecue menu featuring smoked brisket, chicken and ribs.

The team also has new cocktails, including four different spritz drinks, an exclusive coffee-based cocktail, and five different types of margaritas (if that sounds like a long list, remember there are 81 home games.) The Jays Blue Wave beer, brewed by Mill Street, is also back for a fourth season.

The new ballpark additions come after the unveiling of the final phase of the multi-million dollar Rogers Centre renovation project last year. The new features included redesigned 100-level seating, as well as workout rooms and a new clubhouse for the players.

The first pitch of the 2025 season is set for 3:07 p.m. ET on Thursday.
