Woman dead in 4-vehicle crash in Caledon, OPP says

A woman is dead after four vehicles crashed in an intersection in Caledon early Tuesday, Ontario Provincial Police say.

The fatal crash happened at Coleraine Drive and King Street West shortly before 8 a.m., the OPP said in a news release on Tuesday.

The woman, 23, from Bolton, Ont. died at the scene. Police said she was driving one of the vehicles that crashed.

One of the four vehicles in the collision was a transport truck, police added.

Coleraine Drive between Ellwood Drive and Emil Kolb Parkway/King Street was closed for several hours as officers investigated the crash.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashboard camera footage is asked to contact the OPP's Caledon detachment.
