Ai, whose multimedia installations have earned global recognition, is a political prisoner whose passport was stripped from him after he was jailed for tax evasion two years ago. His supporters maintain that he is being punished for his activism.
The touring exhibit, named "According to What?", will be at the AGO until Oct. 27, CBC's Zulekha Nathoo reports.
