Nuit Blanche Toronto returns this October with a dazzling new artistic vision
Nuit Blanche | October 5 - 6
Nuit Blanche is back —a dazzling all-night celebration of contemporary art.
From sundown on Saturday, October 5, to sunrise on Sunday, October 6, this free event transforms Toronto's public spaces into immersive landscapes.
CBC is once again a proud media partner of this year's festival, which is produced by the City of Toronto in collaboration with the city's arts community.
In advance of the all-night festival, Metro Morning host David Common will kick off the festivities with A Talk & Toast with the Nuit Blanche Creative Team on Tuesday, October 1. This free panel event will feature Nuit Blanche artistic director Laura Nanni and exhibition curators. Reserve your ticket here.
Join CBC at the Nuit Blanche Hub for a special live edition of the show Afterdark. Host Odario Williams will bring you an exploration of moody tunes and grooves. While you're there, check out CBC Arts' interactive Think Like An Artist display. Drop in to connect to the live experience and feel the vibes.
Nuit Blanche's locations, theme, curation, and artists change every year, featuring a selection of projects that are extended after the event. Since 2006, this award-winning event has showcased almost 1,600 art installations by around 5,800 artists.
This year's theme, "Bridging Distance," invites audiences to explore and perceive distance through three exhibitions and over 80 works by local, national, and international artists.
