You'll wish you thought of these Toronto-inspired Halloween costumes

These Torontonians looked no further than their own city for inspiration when it came to their Halloween costumes.

Raccoons, Honest Ed's and TTC streetcars — it doesn't get more Toronto than this

These Torontonians looked no further than their own city for inspiration when it came to their Halloween costumes.

Rob Shostak went as Honest Ed's bearing the most iconic sign in the city on his chest — complete with flashing lights.

The costume, complete with sale signs, is bittersweet because the Toronto landmark is closing its doors forever at the end of this year.

This CN Tower costume comes with a little Drake perched on the edge, an ode to the rapper's Views album cover from earlier this year.

And who can forget the infamous beer can throwing incident?

Perhaps the best embodiment of Toronto is ... this raccoon costume. It's accompanied, of course, by a City of Toronto green bin.

After all the Uber vs. taxi industry drama at city hall this year, Toronto is perhaps the best place to rock an Uber costume.

But the clear winner of Halloween in Toronto isn't even a human.

It's this dog dressed as an out-of-service TTC streetcar.
