Toronto Zoo polar bear cub, Juno, shows off for camera
Today is International Polar Bear Day. And to celebrate, here are some pictures of the Toronto Zoo's three-month-old cub playing in the snow.
Baby bear has been adopted by Canadian military
Say hi to Juno if you're off to the Toronto Zoo today.
It's International Polar Bear Day, and the zoo's newest cub will be on public display for the first time, from 10 a.m.-Noon and 1-3 p.m. It will be a special treat for many who have watched the cub's every wobbly step since she was born at the beginning of winter.
At just three-months-old, the polar bear cub still has a long way to go before she grows into those paws.
She's little, but she's got plenty of energy. And since the baby bear has already been adopted by the Canadian military and given the rank of private, she'd better get used to daily training.
For now, Juno's still a bit clumsy
She tires out quickly
Zoo officials say she always takes a nap after every meal and playtime.
