Bike to Work Day is back in Windsor on May 29

The annual Bike to Work Day returns to Windsor on May 29.

Participants will receive free breakfast upon arriving at CBC Windsor

Bike to Work Day is less than three weeks away. 

The annual event will take place in Windsor on the morning of May 29.

Anyone on two wheels who wants to take part should be at GoodLife Fitness at Devonshire Mall by 6:45 a.m. that day, and the group will depart at 7 a.m. sharp.

From there, the cyclists will take the Grand Marais Drain Trail through streets in South Walkerville and the Riverfront Trail on the way the CBC at Riverside and Crawford, with a scheduled arrival time of 8 a.m.

Breakfast will be served and the Windsor Bicycling Committee will announce its Commuter of the Year award winner.

After their ride along the Detroit River last year, about 100 cyclists came to CBC Windsor for coffee, fruit and bagels.
