A Detroit excursion boat which ferried passengers to the Boblo Island amusement park has caught fire at the Riverside Marina.

The cause of the fire, which has engulfed the entire boat, is unknown.

The Ste. Claire, which is owned by a Michigan doctor who wants it restored, ferried passengers to Boblo Island in the Detroit River along with the SS Columbia. The park closed in 1993.

The S.S. Ste. Clair and her sister, the S.S. Columbia, were used as props in Transformers 4.
