Canadians Luke Willson and Jon Ryan and their Seattle Seahawks have arrived in Arizona, ahead of Super Bowl XLIX.

The Seahawks landed Sunday, beating the New England Patriots to town by a day.

Willson is from LaSalle, Ont., a bedroom community west of Windsor. Ryan hails from Regina.

Willson is the team’s tight end and Ryan is its punter, one of the most accurate punters in the NFL.

Both have played key roles in this season’s playoffs. Willson caught a critical — almost miraculous — two-point conversion in the NFC Championship while Ryan threw a touchdown pass on a fake field goal during the same game, a come-from-behind win over the Green Bay Packers.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. EST Sunday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
