Cyclist hit by van at Wyandotte Street and Walker Road Monday afternoon
The woman has been sent to hospital for minor injuries
A woman was travelling southbound on Walker Road when she was hit by a van when she got to the Wyandotte Street intersection Monday afternoon.
Windsor police say she was sent to Windsor Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
The van appeared to have been turning left onto Walker Road from Wyandotte Street when the woman was struck.
There was some traffic backed up in the area and motorists got out of their cars to assist the woman as they waited for paramedics and police to arrive.
