Help fight hunger in our community this holiday season. 

Join CBC Windsor on Friday, Dec. 8, for a day of giving. All food and funds raised will support the UHC – Hub of Opportunities. A representative will be on-site to collect.

  • CBC Windsor Morning will broadcast live from 6 to 8:30 a.m. from CBC Windsor, located at 825 Riverside Dr. W. Seating and space are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. 

    Host Amy Dodge leads this special broadcast in support of UHC. You can also tune in via CBC Listen or 97.5 FM.

  • CBC Windsor News at 6 will broadcast live from Windsor Armouries - School of Creative Arts, University of Windsor. This is located at 353 Freedom Way, and doors will be open from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. 

    Host Meg Roberts leads this special broadcast in support of UHC. If you can't attend in person, you can watch the show on CBC Gem. 

Limited edition CBC swag will be available to win while supplies last.

This year, the need is greater than ever, with the food bank reporting a 22 per cent increase in the number of new community members utilizing its services.

The most needed items are peanut butter, children's snacks, and canned tuna.
