Ontario singer teams with Harlem Globetrotters for unique Sweet Georgia Brown
Using only basketballs, sneakers, a ladder, and their mouths, the Harlem Globetrotters teamed up with singer/producer Mike Tompkins to create an Acappella version of their iconic theme song, Sweet Georgia Brown.
A London, Ont., man has helped compose a unique rendition of Sweet Georgia Brown to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Harlem Globetrotters.
Using only basketballs, sneakers, a ladder, and their mouths, the Harlem Globetrotters teamed up with singer/producer Mike Tompkins to create an a cappella version of their iconic theme song, Sweet Georgia Brown.
Tompkins is an a capella producer, originally from London, Ont., who makes his instrumentals using just his voice and mouth. His YouTube channel has 1.6 million subscribers.
The video was released Wednesday and features members of the Globetrotters, who are in the midst of their 90th year celebration, including stops in seven Canadian provinces through April.
