Water monitoring in Windsor-Essex is expected to continue until September, but the immediate threat of flooding is over.

The City of Windsor has changed the availability of sandbags for property owners who may be at higher risk.

Instead of stopping by designated pick up zones, residents will have to make an appointment to get sandbags, starting Thursday.

Appointments can be made by calling 311 and can be scheduled for between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
