Tree Maintenance calls top the third quarter call list to 311
There have been more calls for service requests about tree maintenance than flooding between July 1 and September 29, according to the City of Windsor.
Top requests were:
- Tree Maintenance - 1,985
- Storm Flooding - 1,900
- Dirty Yard Complaint - 1,731
- Garbage Not Collected - 700
- Downspout Disconnect Service - 465
- Tax Inquiry - 364
- Building Condition Complaint - 339
- Sewer Complaint - 330
- Send Information - 324
- Transit Windsor - 291
Since the flood in late-September, the city reports receiving increased calls about the flooding abatement program.
Home owners can still apply for the program, but should expect some delays because of the high volume of requests the city has received.
A month after the flooding, 2,740 calls to 311 about basement flooding have been recieved and 1,700 tonnes of flood materials have been collected at the transfer depot.
