Windsor-Essex health unit warns against swimming at Holiday Beach

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is warning people against swimming at Holiday Beach after water sampling on Wednesday revealed E.coli counts of 200 or higher.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit is warning people against swimming at Holiday Beach after water sampling on Wednesday revealed E.coli counts of 200 or higher.

The health unit says the high levels of bacteria in the waters may pose a risk to people's health.

It will re-notify everyone after resampling, it said.

Seven other beaches Windsor-Essex that were sampled for E.coli have been cleared for swimming.
