The parking lot at the WFCU centre was transformed into a training ground for young drivers as the Ford Driving Skills for Life program rolled in to Windsor Monday.
The two-day event brought students from General Amherst High School, Western Secondary school and Sandwich secondary school to the lot.
They had a chance to try texting and driving on a closed track.
CBC's Amy Dodge also went behind the wheel, texting a message to her mom.
Dodge said she drove much more slowly and did not feel safe.
There will be 300 drivers going through the courses on how to avoid hazards while driving.
