Adele's Hello 1st song to sell 1 million tracks in a week
New album 25 set for release Nov. 20
Adele's Hello has become the first song to sell one million tracks in a week.
Nielsen Music said Monday that Adele's comeback track sold 1.11 million digital songs, setting a record. Flo Rida's Right Round previously had the record for most downloads in a week with 636,000.
Hello also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart this week.
It is Adele's fourth No. 1 on the chart following Rolling In the Deep, Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain.
The track's accompanying music video, released Oct. 23 and directed by Quebec filmmaker Xavier Dolan, has also set several records.

Vevo said that with 27.7 million views, Hello had overtaken Taylor Swift's Bad Blood for most single-day views. Meanwhile, YouTube announced that Hello has become the second-fastest video to reach 100 million views on YouTube (trailing Korean pop star Psy's Gangnam Style followup Gentleman).
Hello is the first single from Adele's third album, 25, to be released Nov. 20.
