Cameraman learns proximity to Britney is a dangerous thing
One paparazzo got a bit too close to beleagured pop star Britney Spears on Thursday— and apparently had his foot rolled over for his efforts.
The former chart-topper, who is constantly pursued by videographers and photographers, reportedly drove her car over the foot of a TMZ.com cameraman on Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place in Beverly Hills, just hours after a Los Angelescourt once again took away the 25-year-old singer's visitation rights with her two young sons until she complies with an unspecified court directive.
In a statement released Friday,TMZ.com confirmed the photographer as one of its employees.
However, the unnamed man would not be pressing charges, the celebrity website said.
"Things happen at certain times and she was just a little impatient," the cameraman said in a statement.
"She got a little impatient for whatever reason. I say let bygones be bygones."
Spears, an internationally known pop star who shot to fame as a teen sensation, has of late become better known for her problem-filled personal life than her music.
Aside from battling her ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody of their children, she is currently facing charges stemming from a hit-and-run incident — also captured by paparazzi — involving a parked car this August.
