Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux marry in secret backyard wedding
Friends star and The Leftovers actor were engaged since 2012
The pair, who first met on the set of Tropic Thunder in 2008 and co-starred in 2012's Wanderlust, tied the knot at home before a gathering of close friends and family, according to People magazine, Us Weekly and gossip site TMZ.
Aniston's Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow, comedian Chelsea Handler and radio host Howard Stern were among the celebrity pals said to have attended the private gathering in the backyard of the couple's Bel Air, Calif., home. The buzz initially was that the party was to be a surprise birthday bash for Theroux.
Aniston, 46, and Theroux, 43, were engaged in August 2012 after dating for more than a year.
Aniston is one of Hollywood's biggest female stars, with recent credits including We're the Millers, Cake and Horrible Bosses 2.
Theroux currently stars in television drama The Leftovers and has previously appeared on TV's Parks and Recreation, John Adams and Six Feet Under.
