Justin Bieber's lawyers threaten action over published nude pics
Singer posted own butt-baring pic from Bora Bora in July
Justin Bieber actively shares photos with his fans via social media, but the pop singer's lawyers are going after media outlets who published nude images of the Stratford, Ont. star this week.
Bieber posted a few images of his latest vacation in Bora Bora via social media, but other pictures of the 21-year-old singer – naked, apparently shot from afar – also began to surface on Wednesday, along with images of British makeup vlogger Jayde Pierce, with whom he was sharing his stay.
Lawyers for the What Do You Mean singer have since sent out cease and desist letters, including to the New York Daily News, over the publication of the photos online.
Acknowledging that the photos do indeed depict Bieber, the letters demand the immediate removal of the photos from websites and threaten legal action if they are not removed.
It's not the first time Bieber's bare body has been on display – the singer posted a nude of himself, captured from behind and also from Bora Bora – on his own Instagram account earlier in July.
