John Lithgow and Alfred Molina's new movie is 'a lovely little gem' says CBC film critic Eli Glasner

Love is Strange tells the story of a middle-age gay couple who find themselves suddenly homeless in New York.

John Lithgow and Alfred Molina star as the recently-married pair, Ben and George, who are forced to live apart with friends and family after losing their comfy West Village apartment.

Ira Sachs directs the intimate portrait that CBC film critic Eli Glasner calls "a lovely little gem of a movie with the perfect ending."

Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei also stars.

Love is Strange goes into limited release on Friday.
