Los Angeles ceremony, streamed online, included tribute to slain singer Christina Grimmie
Canadian online video superstar Lilly Singh was among the winners at the sixth annual Streamy Awards, the annual celebration of the year's best online videos and their creators.
Singh, the Toronto-area YouTube sensation known as Superwoman, nabbed a pair of awards: best feature for her world-tour documentary A Trip to Unicorn Island and best social good campaign for her #GirlLove Challenge.

Superwoman's A Trip to Unicorn Island chronicling first world tour makes Canadian debut
The Los Angeles ceremony, held Tuesday, was hosted by Toronto-born Vine star and nominee King Bach (actor Andrew Bachelor) and live-streamed on YouTube. Big winners included comedian-actor Yousef Erakat (entertainer of the year), Philip DeFranco (audience award for show of the year and best news and culture) and Casey Neistat (best first-person and editing).
The event also included a speech and musical tribute to Christina Grimmie, the YouTube music star and former contestant on The Voice shot dead in June by while signing autographs after a performance.
