'It was an awesome ride,' says Indigenous Rock the Vote organizer Lisa Forbes. Forbes, Jackie Traverse and Sylvia Sylvia Boudreau take us through the final day of their "Indigenous Rock the Vote" campaign, from vote to victory.

"It was an awesome ride," said Indigenous Rock the Vote organizer Sylvia Boudreau on Monday night, after the election results showed a Liberal majority.

Forbes, Jackie Traverse and Sylvia Sylvia Boudreau are part of the Indigenous Rock the Vote movement. They have spent countless hours in the last months — on Winnipeg streets and on Manitoba reserves — convincing indigenous people to get out to the polls and vote for change.

"This should show anybody in Canada that if you have to an idea and you're passionate about something ... you feel something is not fair, or not right,"  says Traverse.
