Refugees, Keystone, security play prominently in Munk debate

The three main party leaders jousted over Syria, the refugee crisis and the Keystone pipeline during Monday's Munk debate on Canadian foreign policy in Toronto.

Leaders also touched on Syria, U.S. relations and citizenship

The three main party leaders sparred over citizenship, security and the Keystone pipeline during the Munk leaders' debate on Canadian foreign policy in Toronto. The debate began with questions about Syria, refugees and security.

It was the fourth of five debates in this marathon election campaign, with polls suggesting that no one has broken into a lead, despite differences between the parties.

Those differences were on full display as Conservative Leader Stephen Harper, NDP Leader Tom Mulcair and Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau battled over Canada's place in the world.

The Munk Debates offered a live stream of the bilingual event, with translation. The debate was also live streamed on Facebook and carried on CPAC (the Cable Public Affairs Channel) and CHCH.
