Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton trade Twitter burns

Front-runners' Twitter accounts exchange barbs over education policy

Two of the front-runners vying for their respective parties' nominations for president of the United States spent Monday evening posting Twitter insults at each other.

Yes, Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush — or, at least, their campaign teams — were trolling each other on Twitter.

The social media spat began with a post on Clinton's account touting her education plan.

A reply to this tweet was posted to Bush's account, featuring a graphic very similar to Clinton's noting the increase in student debt under the Democratic administration of President Barack Obama.

In response, Clinton's team posted a crudely edited version of that graphic, attacking Bush's own education record as Republican governor of Florida, along with the internet catch phrase "Fixed it for you."

Not to be outdone, Bush's team posted a cheeky variation on Clinton's campaign logo.

Observers of the exchange seemed to find it all unbelievable.

Or maybe unwatchable.
