'Middle Kid' steals the show at Harper photo-op
This kid is no one's backdrop
Stephen Harper was in Campbell River, B.C., on Friday to promise $15 million for B.C.'s salmon habitat and marine environment.
At the event, the Conservatives had three kids in Scouts Canada uniforms stand beside the prime minister.
One of them really stood out.
That middle kid, tho. RT <a href="https://twitter.com/HannahThibedeau">@HannahThibedeau</a> Harper talking about conservation <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/elxn42?src=hash">#elxn42</a> <a href="http://t.co/paR4wAcI9k">pic.twitter.com/paR4wAcI9k</a>

It wasn't hard to predict where this was all going.
Does "middle kid" have a fake Twitter account yet, and will he respond to angry conservative guy? <a href="http://t.co/NBr1NWOn95">pic.twitter.com/NBr1NWOn95</a>

Not everyone was impressed though.
Maybe kids don't get involved in politics because when they do, we dress them up in scouts costumes and then make fun of them on Twitter.

And Scouts Canada isn't too happy he was used in a political photo-op.
Just a reminder that Scouts Canada members are not permitted to attend political events in uniform, we are non-partisan!

A spokesperson for the Conservative campaign says the party welcomed the participation of anyone who was at the event.
And the internet welcomed "Middle Kid."
Forget Left Shark. Be the Middle Kid.
