MTV Video Music Awards: Amber Rose, Blac Chyna's outfits raise slut walk awareness
Amber Rose slut walk to take place in Los Angeles in October
Amber Rose and Blac Chyna wore matching body suits adorned with derogatory terms used against women at the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet to promote Rose's upcoming slut walk.
The white body suits had a number of derogatory terms written on them.
The women were attempting to show the world what others call them, Buzzfeed reported.
"We're just trying to embrace it," Chyna said.
After the pair stepped on the red carpet Sunday night in Los Angeles, Rose's name started trending on Twitter in Canada.
Many seemed in support of the statement the duo was making.

Rose is a self-described "feminist & advocate for women empowerment," according to her Twitter profile.
She has planned an Amber Rose slut walk, which will take place in Los Angeles on Oct. 3.
The walk is one of many slut walks to have taken place around the world to fight "sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labelling and gender inequality," according to her walk's website.
