A protester is accusing Ted Cruz of liking Nickelback
Man also sometimes dons Mountie costume
A protestor in Iowa has been picketing Ted Cruz campaign events with a sign that accuses the Republican senator of liking the Canadian rock band Nickelback.

But he's not the only one accusing Republicans of Nickelback fandom.
At a recent campaign event in South Carolina, Donald Trump was also heckled by someone with a sign deriding him as a Nickelback fan.

—@alivitaliNickelback is a divisive band to say the least, and has received its fair share of mockery, including a Virginia man who listened to Nickelback continuously for one week for charity. After completing the challenge, he said: "I don't think I could have gone one more minute."
The band seems to be taking the latest slight with good humour.
