Malaysia Airlines MH370: The international search effort

26 countries have taken part in the search

The search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 continued on Tuesday with 11 planes and nine ships, the Joint Agency Co-ordination Centre (JACC) based in Perth said.

A total of 26 countries have participated in the search for the plane since it disappeared shortly after departing Kuala Lumpur on March 8 with 239 people on board.

The Australian government set up the JACC on Monday to oversee the search efforts.
