Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton score important victories on their home turf
Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton scored important victories Tuesday evening from primary voters in their home state of New York.
Both candidates held rallies in New York City as the results trickled in, while Republican Ted Cruz and Democrat Bernie Sanders were already campaigning in Pennsylvania — which will hold its primary contest next Tuesday.
Results were coming in right after polls closed at 9 p.m.
