Sochi Olympics surrounded by gay rights protests

As the Sochi 2014 Games are set to launch, protesters around the world have targeted sponsors of the Winter Olympics over a Russian law passed last year that outlaws promotion of homosexuality among minors, which critics say fosters a climate of discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Russia.
