The Gardiner has been down to two lanes in both directions between Dufferin Street and Strachan Avenue since March as crews demolish and rebuild a stretch of elevated roadway. As CBC’s Tyler Cheese explains, while the work was initially forecast to be finished by April 2027, officials are now moving up the expected completion date by a full year.
