Windsor-Essex Catholic students make art display for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Catholic school students in Windsor-Essex coloured more than 2,000 paper feathers for a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation display. The piece called bezhig miigwan, symbolizes residential school survivors and children lost at one of the schools. Organizers hope that community members will observe the federal holiday by reflecting and recommitting to the meaning of truth and reconciliation.
