Jean Simard, president of the Aluminum Association of Canada, says this country must highlight the importance of its resources to the U.S. economy in its tariff negotiations with president-elect Donald Trump. The U.S. imports more than 85 per cent of the aluminum it consumes, and most of that comes from Canada.
