Nunavut man shot by Winnipeg police was in 'really sad' situation, judge said days before his death
Advocates are remembering a man shot and killed Sunday night by Winnipeg police. 24-year-old Jordan Charlie of Nunavut is the man who died following a fatal interaction with officers in a Unicity shopping area. Parole board documents say he lived with addiction and has a long history of mental health challenges and violence following a difficult upbringing.
