Shannon Charrette, a teacher at Korah Collegiate and Vocational School in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., shaved her head during a charity basketball game. It was to support 13-year-old Lucas Catterick, a Grade 8 student battling Burkitt's lymphoma. The moment took place at halftime Wednesday. Shannon’s fiancé shaved her head in front of a crowd of students and staff. Lucas is undergoing chemotherapy at Toronto’s SickKids Hospital and watched the gesture online.
