All 13 Canadian premiers were in the U.S. capital this week to lobby against broad tariffs on Canadian goods. A delegation of American and Canadian labour leaders met with the premiers in Washington on Wednesday. One of those leaders was Bea Bruske, president of the Canadian Labour Congress, who says 1.5 million jobs could be affected within the first year of U.S. tariffs, which she said would also impact the cost of living.
