Canadian steel and aluminum businesses are already feeling the consequences of Donald Trump's latest tariff promise. Jay Godsall, CEO of Solar Ship, says tariffs are raising uncertainty for Canada’s aviation industries but could also provide an opportunity to loosen regulations that he says are holding back the industry. Godsall says that the ‘real goal is the global market’ to mitigate these potential tariffs, adding that ‘America is not the growth industry.’
