3 generations of art from Indigenous family on display at Waterloo gallery
Carl Beam is considered one of Canada's most ground-breaking Indigenous artists. His daughter, Anong, has carried on his artistic legacy as well as passed it down to her own children. And for the first time ever, art from all three generations is on display. Painting with Clay is at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo, Ont. until May 25. CBC K-W's Josette Lafleur went to the gallery to see the pieces and Anong explains what it means to see all the artwork from her family together in one space.
